By popular demand Judy Gardiner, Menopause Society Certified Provider and Medical Director for two Menopause Clinics, in collaboration with Kelly McIntosh, MGM of the Stratford Perth Museum, bring their educational seminar to Goderich. In 2024 Judy and Kelly sold out six ground-breaking educational seminars on midlife women’s health. Aimed at breaking the silence on this important phase of life, they present a brief glimpse into our history and up-to-date evidence based education on perimenopause and beyond in an engaging and safe environment. Their seminars have been featured on CBC’s morning drive, the Globe and Mail, and Yahoo News.
This three hour evening includes education on menopause with a historical perspective.
Seminar includes:
● A History of Menopause Exhibit where you can learn about how our health has been managed over history.
● A brief seminar featuring Kelly McIntosh to help understand how midlife women’s health has been viewed across cultures, why it has not historically received adequate attention or research, and Huron County’s role in our history
● A seminar by Menopause Society Certified Provider Judy Gardiner, also amidst the transition, education women/partners/providers to understand perimenopause and menopause, how to advocate for themselves, navigating misinformation and disinformation, lifestyle, non-hormonal and menopause hormone therapy approaches to care, and how to thrive in the next half of our lives
● A safe, information Q&A session to answer your specific questions (no medical advice)
● Snacks, Music, a curated Book List on all things perimenopause and beyond
