In 2024, the Stratford Perth Museum partnered with Judy to present six groundbreaking seminars that sold out in record time. The Canadian Museum Association recognized the Museum as being “ahead of the curve” in addressing wellness in museum spaces, a theme highlighted at the American Museum Conference that same year.
Due to popular demand, Judy designed this all-in-one seminar, drawing on curated topics from the six previous seminars.
Topics of discussion will include:
-perimenopause and menopause stages, symptoms and differences
-treatments: therapies, non-prescription, prescription including a hormone therapy overview
-chronic disease watch list: common diseases affecting postmenopausal women
-nutrition and supplements for a healthy next half
-Q&A in a safe, space
About the Presenter: Judy Gardiner is a provincially and nationally recognized expert on midlife women's health. As a Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care and Heart Disease, she was deeply moved to improve the state of midlife women's health when she started a harsh menopause transition a few years ago and couldn't find any access to evidence-based care. She has become Menopause Society Certified, opened midlife health clinics, spoken at The Menopause Show on Heart Disease and Osteoporosis, and served as a Top Expert Group Member on the development of the Centre for Effective Practice Menopause Management online tool for Health Care Providers. She believes that sharing knowledge, working collaboratively with both patients and providers, and improving midlife health for all is a wonderful opportunity to enhance our community.
