Step back in time and experience a cozy depression era parlour party, featuring the unforgettable sounds of the 1930s at:  Jazz in the Parlour; A Swing Era Soiree.

This one-night event features live performances by Velvet & Ivory, Beverley Maranger, vocals and Tim Elliott, piano, plus musical friends. Guests will also be serenaded with a couple of tunes from the Selves Family Player Piano, now a cherished addition to the Museum's collection.

The evening is more than a concert; it's a community celebration and fundraiser, showcasing music, storytelling, and history. Although fraught with hardship, the 1930s inspired beautiful music that people flocked to listen to on home radios and in clubs. This music provided a brief escape to a “world where roses bloom”.

This is a licensed event with drinks and snacks.
